What a crazy year 2011 was, major highs and incredible lows. Like others, I went through some pretty big life changes and yet…I survived! Taking lessons learned from the tumultuous times of the past 12 months what was one of the biggest ones? Life can change in an instant and we really have little control over the direction it is evolving in, although we kid ourselves sometimes in believing we do. Yet regardless of the direction we go in, we can find peace in knowing the right people will come along in my life when we need them. The “teachers”, “mentors”, “gurus” we seek are all around us, and at certain points in our life they step forward. Oftentimes, it can come as a surprise. Continue reading…
